Model the real sales process with ordered stages and explicit won and lost outcomes.
Before you start
- Write the stages used by the team today.
- Identify the real closing outcomes.

Model the real process
Create descriptive stages in working order and assign a probability that helps forecast open value. Every pipeline needs at least three stages and exactly one won and one lost closing outcome.
Keep a valid default
Client requires one active default pipeline. The number of pipelines depends on the paid plan, and reaching the limit blocks another creation without deleting existing data.
Protect work in progress
The default pipeline and pipelines containing opportunities cannot be deleted. A stage in use cannot be removed; move or resolve its opportunities before restructuring the flow.
Step by step
- Open Settings and create or edit a pipeline.
- Name each stage in working order.
- Set colour and forecast probability.
- Mark exactly one won and one lost outcome.
- Save and confirm the valid default pipeline.
Final check
- There are at least three stages.
- Stages in use were not removed.
- One active default remains.
Tip: Probabilities support forecasting; they do not automatically prove the chance of closing.
